HAAi launches Radical New Theory label

HAAi is launching a record label called Radical New Theory, aiming to showcase music from unsung talents.

The inaugural release is an EP titled ‘Een’ from Dutch-Australian debutant Ozzy. It channels influence from 90s trance and techno into three driving tracks that you could imagine hearing the likes of Bicep play.

Speaking about the release and label launch, HAAi said: “Ozzy sent me a message online and I was immediately struck by the maturity of his unreleased body of work. The timing was perfect as it coincided with the idea of starting a label that would give exposure to new and unreleased artists.”

A follow-up EP from Ozzy is coming in March via Schalen, after he impressed the label#s head Barnt with a guest slot on HAAi’s Radio 1 residency.
