Glastonbury announces coronavirus-forced cancellation of this year's festival
Glastonbury has moved the festival to next year due to coronavirus
Glastonbury has announced the cancellation of this year's festival following the government's COVID-19 measures.
This year was due to be Glastonbury's 50th anniversary, but it will now take a fallow year due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Festival organisers Emily and Michael Eavis announced the cancellation with the below statement, assuring current ticket holders that they can carry their deposit on to next year.
We are so sorry to announce this, but we are going to have to cancel Glastonbury 2020. Tickets for this year will roll over to next year. Full statement below and on our website. Michael & Emily pic.twitter.com/ox8kcQ0HoB

Kendrick Lamar, Diana Ross, Pet Shop Boys, Sampa The Great, Dizzee Rascal, Fatboy Slim and more were due to play at Worthy Farm in June.

UK venues The Warehouse Project and Printworks London have also announced the postponement of their remaining shows.
