Girls Don't Sync release debut edit pack, '4x4'

Girls Don't Sync has announced the release of their debut edit pack, titled '4x4'.

'4x4' is said to draw on each of the four DJ's sets of inspirations, influences and cultures, with the all-female DJ collective sharing on Instagram that they had wanted to replicate the "same collective creativity and energy" found in their sets with the remix pack.

Coming together in 'perfect chaos', GDS revealed to Mixmag that '4x4' cements the group's "body of ever-growing sound, collectively".

The "club-ready" release takes cuts from their DJ sets, featuring nostalgic edits of Rihanna's 'SOS' and 'Get Out My Head' by Redlight as well as breaks and vocals characteristic of their energetic sound.

Members Matty Chiabi, Sophia Violet, Hannah Lynch and G33 first formed Girls Don't Sync in 2021 as a response to a lack of inclusivity and energy on the dance floors, as with their debut EP, their sets span UKG, house, bass and more.
