Two beautiful worlds collide

Four Tet’s ‘New Energy’ and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith’s ‘The Kid’ are two of 2017's highly praised albums with ethereal and hypnotizing motifs. Both artists have a similar meditative aesthetic but their sounds have never crossed paths... until now.

Four Tet has unleashed a thrilling remix of Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith’s track 'I Will Make Room For You' from her latest LP. The track blends Four Tet’s rhythmic excellence with Smith’s fluttering and entangled vocals to create a kaleidoscopic wormhole of astonishing rapture.

In addition to this, Four Tet has also shared two original tracks via Spotify, both of which consist of unpronounceable symbols. Four Tet has been known to do this in the past, making it impossible to refer to any track in conversation with your music buddies (unless you have a pen and sheet of paper).

You can hear Four Tet’s remix of Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith’s ‘I Will Make Room For You’ and his two new originals in the streams below.
