Glastonbury Festival has confirmed a number of new names for this year’s special event, taking place from June 22 - 26.

While the full line-up has yet to be revealed, all headliners have now been officially announced with new additions of Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar.

The two new headliners will be joined by Billie Eilish and Diana Ross who were confirmed earlier this year, as well as a slew of electronic names including Four Tet, Bicep, and Caribou.

2022’s event also boasts new additions of Little Simz, Bonobo, Róisín Murphy, Nightmares On Wax, Yves Tumor, Greentea Peng, Khruangbin, Carolina Polachek, Metronomy, Gabriels, Koffee, and more.

Today’s new additions also included Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, and legendary bands such as Pet Shop Boys, Sleaford Mods, and The Jesus and Mary Chain. Diana Ross was confirmed last year for Sunday’s ‘legendary’ slot.

“Here is the first Glastonbury Festival 2022 line-up poster, which includes our final two Pyramid Stage headliners: Paul McCartney (Saturday) and Kendrick Lamar (Sunday). Many more acts and attractions still to be announced,” Glastonbury confirmed today alongside the current line-up.

The 2022 event will mark Glastonbury’s first festival since 2019 after two years of cancellations. Glastonbury held multiple livestream events and intimate spin-off festivals over the past two years, although the full-scale event wasn’t able to go ahead.

“We are very happy to bring you the first shortlist of artists from the main stages for Glastonbury Festival 2022 – and if you can believe it there’s even more to come,” tweeted Glastonbury Festival co-founder Emily Eavis.
