EOS are launching a new community-focused online radio station in Frankfurt

EOS are launching a new community-focused online radio station based in Frankfurt. The first weekend of broadcasting will be February 6 and 7.

They’ve lined up a clutch of special guests who’ve created exclusive mixes for the inaugural weekend, including Ben UFO, Jasmine Infiniti, Skee Mask, Vladimir Ivkovic, Aurora Halal and Nicolas Lutz.

They will play alongside local artists, such as Anna Hjalmarsson, Lorica, Febi, DJ Slyngshot and O-Wells.

EOS has been set up as a way of counteracting the effects of the current Coronavirus situation on the dance music community in Frankfurt. As well as amplifying local artists through its online radio station, EOS also comprises an affiliated label and a broad network of music industry experts and connections for mentoring and future collaborative opportunities.

The mixes by Aurora Halal, DJ Slyngshot and Francesco Del Garda will have an exclusive cassette release after the first weekend of broadcasting.

EOS is run independently and funded by the Hessiche Kulturstiftung, an arts and funding body in Wiesbaden, Germany.

They are currently working on procuring a long-term physical space in Frankfurt that will be available to artists after the launch, and intend to start a fundraising campaign to make this possible.
