​Enter Beatport's mix contest to win an opening set at All My Friends Festival in LA

Beatport is giving one lucky and talented DJ the opportunity to play an opening set at All My Friends Festival this summer - the newest big league music event to makes its way to Southern California.

Taking place in downtown Los Angeles on August 18 - 19, the three-stage summer program will host a mixed bag of hip-hop, R&B and dance music headliners - including Jamie XX, M.I.A., Gucci Mane, RL Grime and a rare west coast appearance from Armand Van Helden.

Other noteworthy electronic acts who are set to perform at this brand new event are Pete Tong, Claptone, Soul Clap, Little Boots, Barclay Crenshaw, Destructo, Chris Lake, Anna Lunoe, Wax Motif, Cut Chemist, Golf Clap and special guest Justin Martin.

For those interested in entering the contest, participants are asked to construct an hour long mix that fits within the Beatport genres of house, techno, deep house, tech house or melodic house and techno. Judging will be based on, but not limited to, track selection and mixing ability, originality, demonstration of technical skills and use of social media (#BeatportOpeningSets or #BeatportxAMFAMFAMF) to promote your mix.
