Demuja announces debut eight-track ambient album
50% of the proceeds are going towards Brian Eno's EarthPercent music climate charity
Demuja has announced a new body of ambient work, 'AMB001-008'.
Marking his eighth full-length release - although debut ambient album - the album is set to land via his MUJA imprint on January 15, with 50% of its proceeds going to support Brian Eno's EarthPercent music climate charity.
Founded in 2021, its intention is to raise and utilise funds from the music industry to "combat climate change".

It sees the Austrian depart from his familiar surroundings of raw house and disco for a more laid-back affair, in which emotion bleeds through each of the eight tracks amidst wispy soundscapes, spacious harmonic bursts, rumbling low ends and even the more beatless offerings.
“With 'AMB001-008', I wanted to step outside of what people might expect and create something different," explains Demuja. "Most of these eight tracks were recorded in a single session with almost no editing, so what you hear reflects exactly how I felt during recording.
"Through this project, I also want to give back a little of what I’ve taken from our planet, so I’ll be supporting Brian Eno’s climate charity, EarthPercent, with 50% of the profits from sales. Relax, lean back, and enjoy.”
