Creamfields new 30,000-capacity stage, set to be "world's largest festival structure"

Known as APEX, the new stage will extend the main stage opening until 4AM

Creamfields new 30,000-capacity stage, set to be "world's largest festival structure"

Creamfields has revealed plans for its new stage, APEX which is claimed to be the “largest festival structure in the world”.

The 30,000-capacity space will launch at the festival’s 2024 edition and will extend the main stage opening until 4:AM on the event’s Saturday night for the first time.

Set to be paired with “jaw-dropping production”, this superstructure is set to showcase a range of dance music acts which have yet to be revealed.

However, organisers have confirmed that the arena will include acts from Teletech and techno promoters XXL.

In the festival announcement Creamfields explains that APEX is a “brand-new addition to the festival landscape” and adds that it is “shielded from the elements” and will offer an “epic immersive experience”.

Creamfields will take place next year on the August Bank Holiday at its usual site in Daresbury, Cheshire.

The dance music festival was first launched in 1998 by the club promoter Cream in Winchester before relocating to Liverpool, and finally settling on its current site in 2006.

Running a North and South event, last year saw the likes of Calvin Harris, Carl Cox, Hannah Laing, Swedish House Mafia and Fatboy Slim.
