Ibiza is to welcome a new club this summer which will be run by the team of Mayfair, London restaurant Park Chinois.

Club Chinois is set to open on June 17, on the same site on the Ibiza Town Marina that once held HEART.

As well as the opening announcement, the club has also revealed three residencies from Luciano, THEMBA and Guy Gerber.

On a weekly basis from July 2 to August 27 Luciano will hold his residency on Saturdays, THEMBA will present Colours on Wednesdays from June 15 to September 28 and Guy Gerber will host Mirror Games on Sundays from June 19 until October 9.

Luciano's Saturdays will unite the best of the underground rare world alongside his own sets that incorporate a Latin flair.

Guy Gerber's Mirror Games is inspired by Anish Kupor and James Turrell, and is a "deeply personal project for Gerber" as it delves into a "human endeavour, with production reliant on handmade physical art rather than technology and every week, attendees will enter into a room full of mirrors; tinted, distorted, ancient and new, which will reflect our pain, pleasure, beauty and flaws."

Mirror Games will be held in a unique room filled with mirrors allowing clubbers to "pass through the looking glass".

South African THEMBA is described to be hosting a "vibrant" party featuring a handpicked list of artists including, Black Coffee, Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli and many more.

The renovation of the site includes decor by renowned design studio Laleh Assef, and now boasts a 1,000-capacity.

The opening party will run on June 17 but their line-up is still to be announced however the club will host a range of DJs, live musicians and performers.
