​Chris Brown accused of drugging and raping woman in new lawsuit

Chris Brown is currently being sued for allegedly drugging and raping an unidentified woman, according to TMZ.

The 32-year-old singer reportedly sexually assaulted the claimant, currently suing under the name Jane Doe, on a yacht docked outside Diddy’s home in Miami, Florida.

Pitchfork confirmed the lawsuit with Jane Doe’s lawyers via email. The woman, who works as a choreographer, dancer, model and musician, was allegedly drugged on the boat after consuming a drink given to her by the singer.

Jane Doe is now seeking $20 million in damages. TMZ reviewed the lawsuit and found that the alleged assault took place on December 30, 2020, after Brown invited the woman to Diddy’s home in Miami.

Allegedly, Doe started to feel a “sudden, unexplained change in consciousness” after she was given a second drink by the singer, before feeling “physically unstable”.

Doe began falling “in and out of sleep” according to the lawsuit before Brown led the disorientated woman “half-asleep” into a bedroom.

Brown then reportedly removed her clothes while Doe told him to stop, barring her attempt to leave. The singer then allegedly raped the woman at the home in Miami’s Star Island.

According to the suit, the singer also asked Doe to take a Plan B pill the next day. Doe allegedly didn’t report the case to the police as she claims that she was embarrassed, and now suffers “severe emotional distress” as a result of the incident.

The woman’s lawyers, named Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck by TMZ, said that they are ”committed to victims being heard” and urge anyone with information on the case to contact them.
