Breaka, re:ni, Yushh, and more are billed to play a fundraiser event in London this weekend raising money for the Sudan Solidarity Collective.

Put together by Late Night Shopper and Ormside Projects as a co-promotion, the event is set to go ahead at the South London space on Saturday, September 14, raising funds for those affected by the war in Sudan.

The Sudan Solidarity Collective was formed in response to the outbreak of war in Sudan in 2023. All donations will provide direct financial aid to civilian-led groups, resistance committees and grassroots civil society formations at the frontlines of relief efforts.

The line-up for this weekend's fundraiser includes back-to-back sets from re:ni and Metrist, Sybil and Softi, and Yushh and Dubrunner with their BRUSHHRUNNER project.

"We’ve put together this event to raise funds for the Sudan Solidarity Collective, to continue its aid for people undergoing one of the worst humanitarian crises of recent years," Ormside Projects and Late Night Shopper tell Mixmag.

"They’re a volunteer-led group composed of Sudanese students, faculty, and community members from the University of Toronto, doing important work to resource and advocate for grassroots civilian groups on the ground in Sudan to directly support those worst affected by the ongoing state violence there."

They added: "We believe those of us living in peacetime have a responsibility to contribute in what ways we can towards the wellbeing and livelihoods of people across the world undergoing the human-made crises of displacement and genocide."

Organisers also added that all DJs playing on the night have "forgone their fees in an effort to raise funds".

Set times will be announced on the night. It's currently free to RSVP with a minimum donation of £10 on the door. Check out the event poster below.
