Bluedot adds more names to line-up

Bluedot adds more names to line-up

Bluedot has added more names to its line-up.

Derrick Carter's Cosmic Disco is a new addition, hosted by La Discotheque, with jazz group Sons Of Kemet, God Colony and Emma-Jean Thackray also confirmed to play across July 18 to 21 at the Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire.

Mixmag hosts a late-night party with Canadian DJ Peach and Josey Rebelle. Manchester artist Willow and Ralph Lawson are also among those playing night parties, with Ugandan label Nyege Nyege Tapes hosting a showcase.

Other notable additions to line-up include Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker, KOKOKO!, Werkha and Golden Dawn Arkestra.

These names join the already announced 808 State, New Order, Kraftwerk, Hot Chip, Jon Hopkins, Kate Tempest and Kelly Lee Owens.

The line-up for Bluedot's science and culture programme has also been announced. Speakers include Dr Helen Sharman, the UK's first astronaut, science historian James Burke and the UK Space Agency’s human spaceflight expert Libby Jackson.

Day tickets are on sale for £59.75, while weekend camping tickets start at £169. Get them here.
