BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL have shared the inaugural release on their HYBRID SPASM label, 'PRIZMATIC'.

The four-tracker is fuelled by the duo's determination to "revolutionise the techno landscape", incorporating a kaleidoscopic take on the genre which meanders through intricate soundscapes and hypnotic rhythms and melodies.

Two tracks, 'Bananas' and 'Seashellax' are high energy tracks already familiar to regular BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL listeners, previously released as singles. Penultimate and closing tracks 'Chameleonaire' and 'Carrot Crunch', however, are new and stay true to the producer and DJs' signature high-energy sound.

The approach taken towards 'PRIZMATIC' is one which ensures that full artistic control is maintained throughout. With the pair originating from diverse backgrounds, stretching from Curaçao to Israel, they weave together fragments of everyday life, queer culture, street art and pop art.

"Street art, pop art, and graffiti have always influenced us in a profound way," BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL explain. "The concept of 'PRIZMATIC' is inspired by some of our favourite artists, like Basquiat, Haring, LA II, and KAWS. Each track on the EP is a canvas where we blend textures, colours, rhythms, and melodies, creating a journey that immerses listeners in our world.

"'PRIZMATIC' goes beyond music, embracing authenticity over perfection, championing creative self-expression, and liberating us from expectations. As the first EP on our label, it sets a visionary blueprint for HYBRID SPASM - curating bold, fierce sounds that prioritise fun and the freedom of artistic expression."
