The first line-up for Manchester’s Parklife Festival has just been announced, which will go ahead this summer between June 11 and 12.
Heading back to Heaton Park for its 12th year, Parklife 2022 returns with an almighty roster throwing Tyler, The Creator into the bill-topping position.
Elsewhere on the line-up, Bicep are set to perform a live set, with more live and hybrid performances from Fred again.., Folamour, Ross From Friends and Chase & Status.
The two-day event takes place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June in Greater Manchester with a hand in from Manchester’s Warehouse Project, who helped to curate the whopping line-up.
Over the weekend, Jamie XX, Four Tet, Peggy Gou, The Blessed Madonna, Mall Grab, Or:la, Jayda G, and more of the usual suspects will join the bill, as well as some first-timers including PinkPantheress and Logic 1000.
The eclectic line-up serves both rap enthusiasts with a one-off performance from 50 Cent, to bassline lovers with another special appearance from Bradford’s Bad Boy Chiller Crew.
Annie Mac will also be joining the line-up this year after a hiatus away from DJing and radio. The BBC presenter stepped down from her position after 17 years in April 2021.
This year’s edition of Parklife will also have stages curated by Defected Records, Eat Your Own Ears, and Metropolis who celebrate their 20th anniversary.
