Barcelona club Red58 announces sudden closure
The club, which opened in 2017, was a hotspot for minimal techno
Barcelona nightclub Red58 has announced it is closing down with immediate effect.
Posting on Instagram, a statement reads: “We are very sorry to announce that today is the club is going to end activities.
“We are thankful for sharing music and joy all these years.
“To refund your tickets, please contact us.”

No other information has been given at this time. Mixmag has reached out to the club for further comment.
Red58 opening in February 2017, and has hosted regular parties featuring the likes of Evan Baggs, DJ Masda, Gwenan, John Dimas, Rhadoo, Sofay and Vera over the past five-and-a-half years.
Upcoming parties this month due to take place at the club, that will no longer go ahead, were set to feature sets from the likes of Mihigh, Deckard and Huerta.

The club’s sister venue RED(sito), a food and cocktail bar which is soundtracked by DJs, is remaining open.
