James Blake has collaborated with Jay Z
He joins the rapper on ‘4:44’ bonus material
With Jay Z’s new solo project ‘4:44’ out now, it’s been revealed by the album’s producer No I.D. that three bonus tracks are due for release, including collaborations between Jay Z and James Blake.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about the album's concise 10-track length, he said: “There's three more songs that are coming out as bonuses." He then added that Blake “came in and joined into the process.”
Blake is no stranger to a hip hop collaboration, having worked with both Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean on past tracks. He was also joined by Chance the Rapper back in 2013 for a remix of his hit ‘Life Round Here’, the same year Jay Z's long-term affiliate Kanye West declared Blake his favourite artist.
No further details or release dates have been revealed about the bonus tracks as of yet.
