UK party brand Taste The Punch launch their first ever Ibiza residency. Catch Faithless behind the decks, with support from Toolroom boss Mark Knight, Monki, Tough Love and Marshall Jefferson. Trance Family Unite are in the recently reopened backroom.

Serious underground aficionados love this techno-fest: check out the HYTE Pre-Opening Party on May 31, with Loco Dice, Pan-Pot and Chris Liebing.

Forget the ice cannons and search-and-destroy lasers, massive house, trance and EDM DJs fuel this legendary party. Main resident Fatboy Slim will curate much of the eclectic output, with co-headliners Paul Van Dyk and Above & Beyond on multiple dates.

Italian DJ demi-god Marco Carola’s night is one the busiest underground parties on the island, make sure you arrive early to avoid the peak-time queues, even if you’re on the guestlist.

After roadblock summers at Privilege and Space, Elrow take their twisted tech-house masquerade to Amnesia. Add this crazed confetti-fest to your Balearic bucketlist now.

Live music on the White Isle was a rarity prior to the launch of Ibiza Rocks, which caters for folk, pop and rock addicts on a weekly basis. Grammy award-winners Clean Bandit and emotive indie balladeers Bastille top the bill, with grime headliner Stormzy hosting a multi-stage mini-festival on July 11.

The wackiest tech-house brand in the world lands in San Antonio for two exclusive pop-up pool parties. No doubt Elrow’s daytime incarnation will be as twisted as the after dark version – and for once you’ll be able to use those outlandish inflatables in the pool!

DJs Wilkinson, Redlight and Preditah champion a breadth of genres beside the pool at W.A.R., where UK house, bass and garage sounds are all fully endorsed. Expect Toddla T’s new gig to swank a Caribbean vibe; rap super-
stars Sean Paul and Lethal Bizzle headline a date apiece.

Peak season r’n’b from the platinum-selling UK garage pioneer, Craig David. Expect the mojito-soaked atmosphere at this one to be totally off the scale as last summer’s hottest new pool party returns for a second season of old-skool anthems.

After stints at Privilege and Space, Darius Syrossian and co have a new home. San Antonio’s infinitely influential workers’ crowd are already hyping the significance of San An Sundays, a holy day when underground purists no longer need to travel to Playa d’En Bossa to get their stomping house music fix.

Often controversial but always culturally on-point, Circoloco is the party that put DC10 on the map. House and tech heavyweights Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Kerri Chandler, Jackmaster and The Black Madonna headline this season’s Opening Party, which is universally regarded as a clubland rite of passage.

Inspired by the DC10 dancefloor during the minimal era, Jamie Jones and his Hot Creations crew launched their own party back in 2012. Having evolved beyond the deep house boom, the sonic output at this essential underground event is now better suited to avant-garde tech-house fans.

In true DC10 style, there hasn’t been a great deal of promotion for this one off pop-up party. But the line-up speaks for itself. If you want to catch Solomun, Adriatique and H.O.S.H rocking the DC10 Terrace and Kollektiv Turmstrasse performing
live this is your chance.

Former Pure Pacha resident, pop singer/songwriter Martin Solveig, was awarded his own night back in 2015. Musically, the output is best described as upbeat electro house, speckled with floor-filling elements of future disco.

After her legendary beach parties were stomped by the law, tINI and her team have regrouped, finding the perfect home for their atmospheric sound at Underground. Ibiza based DJ/producer Julian Perez and his Fathers & Sons label will also stage events on Tuesdays, as will the guys behind Caprices Festival.

Breaking news here, as Ukrainian techno star Nastia assumes control of her first ever Ibiza residency. Local imprint NG Trax will also host gigs on Wednesday,
and if the rumours are to be believed, Dana Ruh’s Brouqade Records has been locked down to a monthly timeslot as well.

Romanian techno DJ Rhadoo has been a mainstay here for the past five years. If you like dissident 4/4 beats and are looking to get off the beaten track in Ibiza this summer, this under the radar event is most definitely worth a look.

More educated house and techno from Ibiza’s best resident DJs, including former Zoo Project resident Funk E, Pacha’s Willie Graff and ex-pat Alex Celler.

Line-up information is currently a bit thin on the ground for this one, but in recent years this in-house event has always attracted top avant-garde names. Last summer, for instance, the one and only Mathew Jonson, Germany’s Sammy Dee and Robot party founder Bill Patrick all headlined.

Monday: DJ Harvey is Mercury Rising

Dance music myth, magic and mystery from the incredible DJ Harvey, who designs the décor and plays all night long. Musically, this super-
trippy ride traverses everything from sci-fi instrumentals to techno, via disco and house, as Pikes’ cultural attaché dives into his bottomless record crate.

Wondering where to go after the weekly live events at Ibiza Rocks Hotel? Well, the band always head up to Pikes, where some of the best DJs on the island can be heard spinning retro pop, rock, folk and indie tunes.

Only the very best in trance and house, fused with a steady supply of underground classics, from one of the true pioneers of the UK dance scene: Paul Oakenfold. It’ll be interesting to see how Oakie’s big-room persona translates to the intimate dancefloor in Freddies.
