Mixmag and BUDX are proud to partner on a groundbreaking new Lab destination touching down this summer: Lab Johannesburg.

On Wednesday, May 15, The Lab Johannesburg will kick off with a trio of worthy talents. Mixmag favorite Seth Troxler will help welcome in the newest edition of The Lab, as well as South Africa champion Da Capo and Soweto native DJ Buhle.

Seth Troxler is a musical maestro who combined his Detroit upbringing and Berlin training to the world of techno and ascended as a globally renowned DJ and producer. Today, he is the head of a trio of labels including Tuskegee, Soft Touch and Play It, Say It, a frequent resident of famed clubs like DC10 in Ibiza, London's fabric and more.

Da Capo is a self-taught DJ and producer who has become a staple of South Africa's house music scene. Inspired by the likes of Louie Vega, Jimpster, Black Coffee and beyond, Da Capo signed his first solo EP to Toronto's DNH Records, which eventually led to him signing a deal with the label and continuing to dominate South Africa radio stations and touring across Europe and beyond.

DJ Buhle hails from Soweto, Johannesburg and kicked off her DJ career in 2004 as part of the BFR Crew. Her love of house has continued to push her forward, seeing her DJing across deep funk, deep tech, deep soul and abstract house and has contributed to the Deeper Shades of House and Sensual Desire of House online radio series.
