Boundary
With a DIY aesthetic, Dominican producer Boundary, real name Josué Suero, is the latest talent in the lo-fi house movement. But what sets the 16-year-old apart are the disparate influences he draws from on his debut EP, including jazz, acid and r’n’b. ‘Mi Transferencia No 2’ is all rolling drums and glittery synths, while ‘Autenticado Por Mi Cuenta Master’ runs on 303 squelches. His recent ‘For An Exact Reason’ mix features the likes of John Maus, Drexciya and Legowelt.
