March badness
Kampire
Kampire Bahana started mixing in 2015 after getting involved in the first edition of Nyege Nyege, a festival on the bank of the River Nile. Ugandan but raised in Zambia, Kampire’s sets send floors into overdrive with old and new sounds spanning Congolese soukous to Ghanaian kpanlogo. So far this year Kampire’s booked to play Morocco’s Atlas, Kenya’s Africa Nouveau, Burkina Faso’s Africa Bass Cultures and Sónar in Barcelona.
