Clubs book DJs, and DJs sometimes use turntables to do so. So, you'd expect venues to be equipped and ready for those who will be playing the tunes, right? Unfortunately that's not always the case as avid vinyl user Riz La Teef found out when he turned up to Birmingham's Scru:club in March. Replying to Mumdance, who had his own problems with the club, Riz tweeted "I turned up to this place and they had no turntables in the venue so I couldn't play". He still got paid, though, so not all bad.
