Relentless summer heat is no match for the party-hardy Southern California that have become familiar with the annual beck and call of HARD Summer. As the name suggests, the event isn't for the faint of heart, traditionally featuring names on its line-up that continue to top each other in energy as the day goes on. Plus, there's an Olympic-sized pool adjacent to the main stage for a quick dip and break from the heat without leaving the dancefloor zone.
This year, the two-day festival boasted a variety of both hip-hop and electronic artists, ranging from explosive names like Major Lazer and Dillon Francis; to bass-tinged with RL Grime, What So Not and Alison Wonderland; to house champions like Justin Martin, Anna Lunoe, Kyle Watson and Amtrac; and finally with household hip-hop names like Kid Cudi and Juice WRLD.
Over 170,000 revelers descended upon Fontana to take part in the marathon, and the energy was held high across both Saturday and Sunday of the festival. It's no surprise HARD Summer remains an annual favorite with its serious focus on delivering artists that know how to uphold that "good times above all" mentality.
