Watch the official video for Cid Rim's 'Charge'

The Vienna based producer and Affine label founder Cid Rim released the single 'Change' in March and now Mixmag TV has the exclusive on the video.

Revolving around an unmanned drum kit in a huge industrial warehouse, it has parallels to the recent movie Whiplash which tells the story of a hungry young drummer pushing himself to the limits to become one of the greats.

The drumming references are on point as Cid Rim's beat programming is sheer class, achieving a live organic sound with jazz breaks. Combined with the funk-fuelled synths, fans of Com Truise, Hudmo and early Four Tet should lap this up.
