War Child has launched a fundraising initiative within the dance music community
The NGO is raising money through events, exclusive content, merch, and more
War Child, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) supporting children affected by war and conflict, is launching a fundraiser within the dance music community.
‘The Right To Dance’, the NGO’s fundraising platform, has launched today in aid of those impacted by war. Comprising of events, merchandise, exclusive content, and the launch of a brand new label, the platform will be working closely with the electronic music industry to help the fundraiser.

On Thursday, October 21, War Child teamed up with RA and humanitarian charity Choose Love to throw an event at The Cause, with headliners from The Blessed Madonna, Bicep, and SHERELLE, and more artists on the line-up including IZCO, Sicaria Sound, Daniel Avery, and Dr Banana.
The Right To Dance campaign will work on a subscription basis, allowing donors to support the charity through their own creative work.
The platform will offer rewards, exclusive content such as editorials and interviews, and products “all underscored by the key themes of community, freedom, identity and self-expression that run through War Child’s work”, for £8 a month.
Subscribers will also gain access to merchandise, digital music releases, monthly podcasts and mixes, and early access to events, as well as a reduction in ticket prices.

War Child has also launched its own record label - TRTD Records - curating a series of both digital and vinyl releases from underground talent in partnership with smaller, independent labels.
All proceeds from the NGO’s newly launched fundraiser platform will go toward safe spaces, education, and future funding for children affected by conflict.
