Trilogy Tapes to release new Ondo Fudd record next week

Stream two gorgeous cuts off of the record now

The London-based imprint Trilogy Tapes has uploaded a pair of tracks from ‘Blue Dot’, JR Seaton’s new release as Ondo Fudd.

Seaton’s second outing for the label follows his string of 12”s and a well-received LP under his Call Super moniker. This new material falls in line with the sun-kissed avant-techno that Seaton regularly issues out, though this time taking a wider and more free approach to structure.

‘Veto Plank’ saunters on a heavy bass groove tugging along an aquatic backdrop calling to mind Larry Heard’s new age excursions, while ‘Blue Dot’ is an impressive ambient passage with meticulous sound design choices accompanied by a supple clarinet solo.

The full ‘Blue Dot’ will be available for purchase next week, but can be pre-ordered here. Listen to ‘Veto Plank’ and the eponymous ‘Blue Dot’ ahead of release below.
