Tresor drop full line-up of upcoming seven week long festival Tresor 31

The Berlin-based festival will see the likes of Objekt, Powder and Underground Resistance perform

Berlin’s Tresor has announced the full line-up of their upcoming seven-week-long festival, Tresor 31: Techno, Berlin und die große Freiheit.

Running throughout July and August, Tresor31 will see the likes of Objekt, Helena Hauff, DJ Stingray 313, Neil Landstrumm, Violet, Ectomorph and Huerco S. playing b2b with Anthony Naples as well as many more.

Taking place between July 8 2022 and August 28 2022, the festival will spread from Tresor’s main room across to Globus, OHM and Kraftwerk spaces.

Celebrating 31 years of the iconic club opening in 1991, the festival is also depicted as a collection of exhibitions and concerts delving into Berlin’s rich history of clubbing with many talks and installations available to witness.

Berlin record shop Hard Wax will be running a free showcase with a talk by musician and writer DeForrest Brown Jr., along with a panel on Berlin's clubbing landscape.

Visual artists are also set to be at the festival, including Bahar Noorizadeh, Claire Williams, Rebecca Salvadori, Mark Prendergast, Arthur Jafa and Joe Namy.

Tresor finally reopened in May this year after a hiatus since March 2020 and has been refurbished with a new soundsystem by Lambda Labs and a Globus floor.

In 2021, Tresor celebrated its 30th anniversary with a 52-track compilation, containing “classics and exclusive commissions”, formats as a box-set including 12 records.

The album profiles some of the artists that have given the “sound and foundation” for the last 30 years of Tresor.
