Sustain Release announces line-up for tenth edition

The New York-based festival returns to its mountainous home from September 12 to 15

Sustain-Release has announced its 2024 line-up for its tenth edition.

The Upstate New York-based festival is set to take place at Camp Kennybrook in the Catskill Mountains, a beautiful home containing a lake and woodland, 90km north of New York City.

Known for its low-key and music-first approach, the line-up champions sounds from across the spectrum of house and techno, as well as jungle, drum ’n’ bass and more.

The festival is split across two stages, the indoor Main stage, and the outdoor Grove stage, with the Main stage being graced by the likes of: Avalon Emerson, Honey Bun, Skee Mask, Hiroko Yamamura, Pariah, Josey Rebelle b2b Shyboi and organiser Aurora Halal.

The Grove stage will welcome DJs such as Danny Daze, Pascale Project, DjRUM, Patrick Russell, Polygonia and many others.

Sustain-Release will also include another stage on Sunday night called Bossa Lounge, named after the legendary New York club Bossa Nova Civic club, as well as a Basketball party on the Friday, and a Pool Party on the Saturday.

The event is notably difficult to buy a ticket for, with its non-commercial approach meaning you can’t just buy a ticket, you must either be a member to attend (meaning you have attended before), or a guest of a member, with information sent out via a mailing list rather than posted on social media.
