Proceeds from the 'Nothing More To Say' repress will be donated to the to the Scottish Trans Alliance

SOPHIE's debut EP 'Nothing More To Say', is getting a repress and will be available in early 2022.

It will be available on Huntleys + Palmers.

'Nothing More To Say' was initially released in 2013 by Huntleys + Palmers, a Scottish independent label. Prices for re-sold vinyl copies have risen since the producer's death earlier this year.

Due to growing pricing, label boss Andrew Thomson believed it was critical to make more affordable copies available, according to DJ Mag.

Proceeds from the new pressings will be given to The Scottish Trans Alliance once they are available for purchase.

The equality network is dedicated to advancing gender identity and reassignment rights

A description on the Bandcamp listing for the release says: “Where it all began! It was only a matter of time before SOPHIE would go on to change music for the better. We will be forever fortunate that our paths crossed and this special record marks a moment in time of endless possibilities.”

The repressing's exact release date is yet to be determined, although it is scheduled in early 2022.

SOPHIE died in a "sudden accident" in Athens, where she was based, earlier this year at the age of 34.

A mural homage to the icon was revealed at Liverpool club 24 Kitchen Street, and a petition to name newly found planet TOI 1338 b after the artist was also launched.
