SHERELLE releases debut EP ‘160 Down The A406’

The jungle aficionado is dropping her first full release

SHERELLE is releasing her first full release next month titled ‘160 Down The A406’.

The two-track EP is a reflection on the uncertainty of 2020, a time in SHERELLE’s life that left the DJ, producer and label boss wondering what would come next.

“The two tracks represent discovery, and they mean a lot to me as I feel like I am always searching for the new and unknown. I wanted my first introduction musically to be different. I feel like I rarely show a softer, emotive side to the world and these tracks are supposed to be warm and forgiving,” says the producer on her first record.

The opening track of the same title dropped today, both self-produced and self-released by the DJ herself. ‘Rhythm Love (Feel It)’ is the second track from the artist coming on the EP’s release date of July 6.

The EP also features artwork from LCY, founder of the SZNS7N label.

“Although I had gained a lot, I also lost all my income and was feeling super isolated. Producing for me was a way of dealing with all the anxiety and sadness that I had felt. I also went through a lot of self-discovery of what I truly wanted out of life and asked myself if I was truly happy with things,” says SHERELLE.

The announcement of her new EP comes just a month after SHERELLE gave news of her new platform, BEAUTIFUL. The platform, label and collective aims to “cultivate new music scenes within the Black and LGBTQI+ music community in and around Europe.”
