Sasha’s Last Night On Earth turns 10

In celebration, he’s announced 10 collaborations and 10 events

Mixmag mainstay Sasha’s imprint Last Night On Earth is turning 10 - and in celebration, he has announced 10 new collaborations and 10 special international events, celebrating the artists, music and community that have made it the imprint it is today.

The first track - Sasha’s remix of Photek’s seminal ‘Aviator’ - is available now. The track has been in demand from many since a lockdown livestream from the DJ, but felt that it needed releasing “when you could drop it to 2000 people in a club and they go mental.”

“With ‘TEN’ I just had to revisit it,” Sasha adds. “I thought wow, this is enormous - what are we thinking, we have to put this out there!”

‘TEN’ and its collaborations will be dropped in instalments - the final five tracks are still to be announced, with a full unveiling of the completed ‘TEN’ in June, and the label has promised “big surprises”.

“As the label hits this milestone, I want to tell our story - the music, unity, expression, and relationships at the heart of the brand,” explains Sasha.

The events, entitled ‘TEN’, have already kicked off and include Miami, Mexico City, New York, London and Berlin.

Elsewhere, progressing his artistic range, Sasha has created the music for the Da Vinci Genius immersive experience, moving between genres, sounds and textures in the process. This recently launched in Berlin before touring as an exhibition worldwide.
