R. Kelly's manager wanted by police for alleged death threats

The threat was made against the father of the singer's girlfriend

An arrest warrant has been issued in the state of Georgia for R. Kelly's manager James Mason after he allegedly threatened to kill the father of R. Kelly's girlfriend Joycelyn Savage.

Joycelyn's father Timothy Savage has been speaking out against the r'n'b star for months, claiming that R. Kelly has recruited his daughter into a "sex cult" and has been holding her captive against her will.

According to TMZ, Mason called Timothy Savage and made a "very specific death threat" against him. The message that Mason left for Savage allegedly said, "I'm gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I'm gonna get you, I'm going to fucking kill you."

Despite the fact that Savage has been insistent that his daughter is being held captive as R. Kelly's sex slave, Joycelyn claims that her father is wrong and continues to maintain a relationship with the singer.

Mason's lawyers say that he will cooperate with police but maintains that he never threatened Timothy Savage.

R. Kelly recently put out a 19-minute song addressing the multiple allegations of sexual misconduct brought against him titled 'I Admit It'.
