​Powder kicks off a new mix series from Beats In Space

Tim Sweeney celebrates 20 years on the airwaves

Japanese DJ-producer Powder will kick off the first installment of Beats In Space's new mix series.

The revered New York radio station and imprint run by Tim Sweeney will release the inaugural '...In Space' mix, titled 'Powder In Space', on February 15. The launch this new series, which aims to explore "dance music’s form and informality" will coincide with Beats In Space's 20-year-anniversary.

This celebratory, 74-minute mix from Powder features music from the likes Acid Pauli, Tornado Wallace, Samo DJ & The Hidden Operator’s and Daphne whose track 'When You Love Someone (Groove Instrumental)' will get its first official reissue on the release.

Powder has also prepped two new original tracks for the mix titled 'Gift' and 'New Tribe' - the latter of which has been released today with an animated "biographical video" that shows her "evolution from 9 am-to-5 pm desk worker in Tokyo to 9 pm-to-5 am acclaimed DJ around the world".
