Three music festivals announce Nina Kraviz will no longer play this summer
PollerWiesen, Movement and The Crave have all released statements on social media
Nina Kraviz is no longer playing three festivals that she was due to appear in this summer.
The Crave in The Hague, Movement Detroit and Dortmund's PollerWiesen have all published statements online confirming that the Russian DJ is no longer playing at their events.
This news comes a day after Kraviz published a statement online explaining why she hasn't been posting on social media about the Russia-Ukraine war after she was criticised for perceived silence.

In Kraviz's statement, she says in part: "I am a musician and was never involved in supporting the politicians or political parties, I am not planning to do it in the future. I don't understand politics or the social processes it creates. So I don't think it is right to talk about it on social media."
None of the festivals gave explicit reasoning for this decision. PollerWiesen said, "this decision was made by us following a process of open dialogue with all parties involved."
Similarly, The Crave wrote: "After long and intensive discussions both internally and externally we have decided that Nina Kraviz will not play The Crave Festival 2022."
Movement Detroit, where Kraviz was listed as one of the big names to expect, tweeted: "Nina Kraviz is unable to play Movement this year."

Last Monday (May 16), Clone Records ended its agreement with Kraviz; the company published a statement to clarify it ended the agreement with the DJ and her label Trip Recordings.
It cited her silence over Russia as the primary reason to end its agreement with the DJ and producer.
"While many festivals and clubs conveniently accept her right to remain silent, we in our opinion have all the reasons to end the collaboration," it reads.
Clone founder serge also said that the company's decision was also motivated by Kraviz's "pro-Putin" views and "CCCP/USSR sentiments."
