Mixmag x Magnum By Trojan — Gold Sessions: Unknown T & Jelani Blackman

Mixmag is teaming up with Magnum by Trojan to throw a very special party in London with enigmatic rap artists Unknown T and Jelani Blackman.

To celebrate the launch of Magnum by Trojan, Trojan's Large Size condoms, in the UK — we'll be kicking off the Gold Sessions, named after Magnum's iconic gold foil.

The event will feature two sets by Unknown T and Jelani Blackman — with footage from both streamed out on Mixmag channels across October.

Drill rapper Unknown T has become a mainstay within the genre. His debut track ‘Homerton B’ became the first drill song to be certified silver in the UK — transforming him into a pioneering powerhouse within the scene. He's recently made waves in the fashion world, being tapped for collaboration with streetwear brand PLACES+FACES.

Rapping about all things from racism and systemic inequality, to having fun with your mates on a night out -— Jelani Blackman is also fast becoming a popular name in the London rap scene. His impressive list of collaborators includes Ghetts, Brian Eno, Big Zuu, Wolf Alice and Burna Boy.

London's very own A.G will be on warm-up duties, promising a pleasure-centred blend of dynamic club sounds and visceral London nostalgia.

The Mixmag x Magnum By Trojan - Gold Sessions will be hosted and presented by Jonah Francis West, one half of Jonah & Stan – the directing and hosting comedy duo who have worked with Palace, Skepta, Kurupt FM and a host of others.

The event, in partnership with Magnum by Trojan, will start at 6.30PM on Wednesday, October 19 — complimentary drinks will be provided.
