Melbourne's Animals Dancing crew announce debut Bears Gone Bush festival

The scene favourites enter the camping festival game

Melbourne's Animals Dancing have announced their first foray into the camping festival scene: Bears Gone Bush.

Japanese producer Powder (pictured), Rush Hour regular Interstellar Funk and German artist Tolouse Low Trax are the first names to be announced for the three-day event, which will hit Our Friends Farm at Talarook, just over an hour north of Melbourne, across the AFL Grand Final long weekend of September 28-30.

Local selectors Otologic and Andee Frost are behind Animals Dancing and are stalwarts of the Melbourne scene with their parties and releases.

"Over the next few months, we’re very happy to be announcing a carefully curated lineup of artists, assembled from Australia and abroad to keep your eyes and ears busy for the duration of your stay," the festival's website reads.

Tickets for Bears Gone Bush are on sale now. There will be three more rounds of line-up announcements.
