LSDXOXO releases new single 'SMD', announces ‘Dedicated 2 Disrespect’ remix EP
The EP will feature reworks from TYGAPAW, VTSS, BADSISTA and D.Dan
Previous Cover Star, LSDXOXO has dropped a brand-new single today along with news of a remixed version of his 2021 EP to be out soon.
His new single ‘SMD’ draws inspiration from the post-feminism Lil’ Kim track ‘Suck My Dick’.
The EP ‘Dedicated 2 Disrespect’ via XL Recordings will get a new lease of life as it is to be re-released with remixes on March 25 but through his label Floorgasm.

Contributions to the remixed EP include work from, TYGAPAW, VTSS, BADSISTA, D.Dan, River Moon, Estoc and Anal House.
Last month, the Philly-born, Berlin-based artist contributed his own remix to PinkPanteress’ ‘to hell with it’ remix project.
Mixmag spoke with LSDXOXO for our cover in May 2021 at the time of his EP release. When asked about 'Dedicated 2 Disrespect' he replied: "I was marrying that Berlin influence that I took in with pop sensibilities. I didn’t want to make anything that felt one-note."

"I have a really short attention span and so I can never focus on one genre for my records. I wanted to weave in all these influences on this record without making it feel too cluttered. I also tried to incorporate all these different instruments that I've been taking in over the last few years."
