La bonne musique welcomes Derek V Bulcke for its latest EP release
"It’s an experience created to be danced to with your eyes closed"
La bonne musique has welcomed Derek V Bulcke for its latest release, as the Spanish artist this week released EP '4ever Sampling Love' on the London imprint.
The record pays homage to the history of electronic music by weaving in dynamism inspired by UK rave culture and particularly its sampling, traversing through fast-paced breaks to vibrant techno and back again.
There's two remixes of opening track 'MAKE UP' to boot, from Andalusian producer GAZZI - he offers a mysterious downtempo affair, boosted with chuggy beats and sensuality - and China-born, London-based Stella Z, who offers an ambient, psychedelic and atmospheric cut.

"'4ever Sampling Love' is an ode to sampling culture, blending vibrant breaks and UK garage with nostalgia and modernity," explains Derek V Bulcke. "It’s an experience created to be danced to with your eyes closed.”
"This release is really special to us and was a joy to work on," La bonne musique tell Mixmag. "We had admired Derek's musical and visual work for a while, and the whole process of working with him was really fun and creative.
"On top of that we had the chance of bringing two very special artists on to the project, Stella Z, a long time collaborator and friend of the label, and GAZZI, who we were also really excited to bring on board."
