Kodak Black shot following Justin Bieber party in LA

His attorney confirmed that his injuries are not "life threatening"

Kodak Black was shot at during the early hours of Saturday morning near the site where an after-party for Justin Bieber was taking place.

The rapper, real name Bill Kapri, was among four men shot near Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles.

Video footage obtained by TMZ showed Black and fellow rapper Gunna leaving the party and taking photos with fans before a fight broke out and shots were heard.

The shots led to people on the scene at N La Cienega Boulevard running for cover.

According to Sky News, a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department said that the men were aged 60, 22, 20 and 19. They also confirmed that they have launched an investigation.

The police said that there was a "physical altercation" between several people. In a news release posted to Twitter, they are currently looking for help to identify the suspect.

Two of the injured were taken to hospital by ambulance, while the other two made their own way to the hospital to receive medical attention.

Kodak Black's lawyer, Attorney Bradford Cohen posted on his Instagram to confirm that he is in stable condition: "There was an unprovoked attack on an individual Kodak was with, when security and Kodak came to his aid, several shots were fired at them by an unidentified assailant.

"Luckily, this was all caught on video. Kodak was struck in the leg. It was not life-threatening, he will make a full recovery and he is in stable condition."

The owners of Nice Guy restaurant said that the venue was hosting an after-party for Justin Bieber which had several A-list attendees, including Drake, Khloe Kardashian, Jeff Bezos and Tobey Maguire.
