Julio Bashmore makes Classic Music Company debut with new track ‘Sprungboard’
Set to land on Defected's sub-label on Friday, the track has already seen support from Honey Dijon and Joy Orbison
Julio Bashmore has announced the arrival of a brand new track titled ‘Sprungboard,’ set to debut on Defected sub-label Classic Music Company.
The track, scheduled for release February 23, features a building a rising crescendo of choppy vocals, percussion, and distorted synths — a marked return to the buoyant house for the renowned producer.
“This track slaps in the club, it’s been in the back pocket of DJs such as the great Honey Dijon and Walworth darling Joy Orbison,” revealed Bashmore in a press release.

The track follows last year's track, ‘Bubblin’ which marked Bashmore’s first solo release under his moniker in eight years.
After rising to stardom in the 2010s with solidified classics ‘Au Seve’ and ‘Battle for Middle You,’ while the Bristol-born artist debuted his 2009 album ‘Knockin’ Boots’ before seemingly taking a hiatus from releasing new music.
During this time, Bashmore made a handful of releases under the alias Bash.

Posting to Instagram in recent years, Bashmore has been promoting his recent track ‘Bubblin' and teasing the release of ‘Sprungboard,' to the delight of fans in the comments, who welcomed his return.
Glitterbox recently tweeted a video of a b2b between Chloe Caillet and Eli Iwasa featuring the new track, captioned “New Music Alert.”
