'Dark Humor' follows Jana Rush's successful 2021 project 'Painful Enlightenment'.
This upcoming mini-album spans across 7-tracks and features remixes from her last full-length album 'Painful Enlightenment' and from her 2017 debut EP 'Pariah' as well as some new percussion-heavy tracks with deep basslines.
The description of the mix says: "The remaining tracks are all new compositions with Jana concentrating on a more manic, dancefloor-focused style with punchy, panicked vocals, hip-hop beats and humorous, self-effacing samples, all amounting to a worthy follow-up to one of the most innovative releases of last year."

Accompanying “Lonely” is a music video directed by Wills Glasspiegel, who said: "'Lonely' was shot largely on Lower Wacker Drive (LWD) in downtown Chicago in 2021. It's an iconic space for several reasons that may not be apparent to someone less familiar with Chicago.
"I was thinking of the underground space as the deep subconsciousness of Chicago. So there's a sense of house music history that's rooted there in that labyrinthian space."
