Ever since Boddika started Nonplus in 2009, the label has been at the forefront of a house and techno revolution. The darkness-drenched sounds of artists like Kassem Mosse, Actress and Skudge typified a movement occurring around that time and it’s continued to push on ever since. In 2013 the ‘Think and Change’ compilation dropped and it contained a wealth of heavy-artillery weapons that are still in regular rotation today. Four Tet’s ‘For These Times’, Joy Orbison’s ‘Big Room Tech House DJ Tool - TIP’ and also his collaboration with Boddika ‘&Fate’ sum up just how much heat the label has put forward.
