High Contrast drops 20th anniversary 'True Colours' remix album
Remixes by Flava D, Marky, Winslow and Artificial Intelligence all feature
High Contrast has just released his highly anticipated 20th anniversary 'True Colours' remix album on his own label, Highly Contrasting.
The remix album features tracks from disc one of the original 'True Colours' album, which was released in 2002 through Hospital Records.
All the tracks are reworked by some of the biggest names in the drum 'n' bass scene today.

This includes remixes by the likes of Marky, Flava D, Winslow, Artificial Intelligence, Bop, Logistics, Samurai Breaks & Neve, and Digital.
Sounds found from across the drum 'n' bass genre can be seen in this album, from jungle, to rollers, to deep bass.
Expect some garage influence in the Flava D remixed version of titular track 'True Colours', all while hearing chilling crawler 'Remember When' - remixed by Winslow, and the jungle-infused version of 'Amen Sister' by Digital.

On April 23, Record Store Day, High Contrast released a vinyl reissue of 2002's 'True Colours' to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album.
The original 'True Colours' released in 2002 launched High Contrast to success. The 23-track album has gone down in drum 'n' bass history and each track showed different sides to High Contrast's own varied taste - from disco influence coming through on 'Passion', while 'Make It Tonight' has a more soulful sound.
