Last week Grimes took to Twitter to gush about young X AE A-Xii’s preciousness, writing: “My tenth month old baby just turned on my teenage engineering keyboard, built a unique patch and made a loop and then smiled at me ! Wtf!”
In a following post on Instagram, Grimes shared a video, showing X AE A-Xii smushing his hands over a Teenage Engineering OP-1 portable synth (RRP €1,399 - what's wrong with a good old Mattel Fisher Price glockenspiel?) and making some ominous sounds. Behind the camera, Grimes asks: “Did you make a loop? You’re so smart!”.
In the caption Grimes added: “Prob an accident but tbh he played a super fire set just now.”
