Team behind Griessmuehle opens new Berlin club, Revier Südost
An outdoor area of the venue called Baergarten is now open
The team behind the Berlin club Griessmuehle, that closed down earlier this year, has opened a new venue called Revier Südost.

The club will be hosted inside the former Bärenquell brewery (pictured) in the Niederschöneweide locality in the south-eastern side of the German capital.
The Bärenquell brewery first opened in 1882 and then shut down in 1994, and has been abandoned until now. Check out photos of it at abandonedberlin.com.
An outdoor area of the venue called Baergarten is now open to the public. The indoor space cannot currently open due to pandemic regulations forbidding dancing inside in Berlin currently.

Griessmuehle’s closing sparked protests on the streets of Berlin in January.
Writing about the new venue, the Revier Südost team said: “Neither the closure of Griessmuehle, nor the numerous arduous removals and relocations could get us down. We are back—in the old manner, at a new location.”
