Gozo Carnival Weekender announces dates and theme for 2023 event

Four days and nights of music on Malta’s sister island this February

Gozo Carnival Weekender has announced its return this year, heading back to Malta’s sister island of Gozo across four days this February.

The annual party will take place from February 16 - 19 across four enormous days and nights of music, featuring R&B, club, and house acts.

Though the full line-up is yet to be revealed, Gozo Carnival Weekender has announced that a run of local DJs including Ziggy, Pocci, Carl Lautier & Nikki VP will perform at this year’s event.

Taking place on the scenic island of Gozo in walking distance of its luscious turquoise coastline, Gozo Carnival Weekender doubles as a holiday retreat for ravers heading out to the island.

Each day across the event will feature partnerships from parties and organisers around the island, with a Panthems takeover on Thursday, Strictly RNB takeover on Friday, and an After Hours takeover on Saturday.

Gozo Carnival Weekender is one of the largest events to go ahead on the island each year, with the main venue being La Grotta, situated on a cliff in Xlendi.
