Sziget announces second wave of acts for 2024, including Skrillex and Modeselektor
Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Four Tet, Honey Dijon and Overmono are also set to appear in Budapest this summer
Budapest's island festival, Sziget, has announced its second wave of acts for 2024.
Taking place in Óbudai-sziget, August 7 - 12, Sziget has made a name for itself as one of Europe's biggest festivals, welcoming a diverse line-up of international acts each year.
Upholding its reputation, this year's edition of the six-day festival is headed by heavyweights Fred again.., Martin Garrix and Stormzy.
Among the latest acts set to join the mammoth line-up are Skrillex, six-time BRIT award-winning singer Raye, Modeselektor, electronic hip hop act Tkay Maidza, 'Loop Daddy Marc Rebillet, Loco Dice, Camo & Krooked b2b Luude and more.

Though the festival accommodates a variety of genres - from pop, indie, rock to rap and more - this year boasts a strong electronic presence, featuring the previously announced Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Four Tet, Honey Dijon and Overmono, Dom Dolla, ANOTR and Nia Archives.
As with previous years, several promoters are set to take over the Bolt Party Arena, rising to the challenge this year are Elrow, Awakenings, Q-dance, STMPD, Next Level & Rampage and Be Massive.
Dubbed "The Island of Freedom," the festival hosts a rich arts programme alongside music, including theatre, cabaret, comedy and more across more than 50 areas.
Reflecting on the diversity sported by Sziget annually, CEO Tamás Kádár said: "Sziget will feature big world stars, current artists and newly discovered musical specialities, so that everyone will be offered a strong and exciting selection of music, regardless of genre".

At the beginning of the year, the European festival was named among the "World's Greenest Festivals", according to a framework developed by A Greener Future (AGF), assessing the events handling of waste, travel, energy and EDI.
Sziget was also the recipient of the 'Line-Up of the Year', awarded by the European Festival Awards 2023 which marked the festival's 30th anniversary headed by David Guetta.
Tickets are available now with prices ranging from €75 for a day pass to €229 to attend all six days.
