Frank Ocean publishes new photography book, Mutations

The book made from tissue paper includes the artist’s own photography

Frank Ocean has published his own photography book Mutations via his brand Homer.

Showcasing the artist’s self-shot photographs, the new 48-page book has been delicately printed in the US on tissue paper.

The colourful images, including self-portraits, were all shot by the artist between October 19 to December 22, 2022.

This marks Ocean’s second photography book, with his first, XXXL: When A Dog Comes To Stay still available.

XXXL: When A Dog Comes To Stay is a book of 14 posters, with an oversized foldout in the middle that includes shots of the robotic green baby he took as his plus one to the 2021 Met Gala.

Frank Ocean is also rumoured to soon release a brand new album, after debuting several never-before-heard reworked tracks at his controversial headline slot at Coachella.

In his first live performance in six years, he announced that a new album is on its way, which will pay tribute to his late brother Ryan Breaux.

Ocean was planned to play the following weekend of Coachella but was pulled from the top slot citing a leg injury.

Mutations is now available to purchase from Homer at $75 (around £60).
