Four Tet is taking his all-nighter shows back to London

Two gigs in two days at O2 Academy Brixton

Last year, Four Tet treated fans to a one-off, all-night show at Brixton Academy featuring Ben UFO, Daphni, Pearson Sound, Floating Points and more.

Now, the artist, also known as Kieran Hebden, takes his all-night party back to the venue. This year will be the first time Four Tet's all-nighter arrives one night after the other, taking place on October 14 and 15 from 10pm to 6am, with tickets going for just £5 again.

The conceptual design is simplicity trumps all. Four Tet explains in his Facebook announcement post: "There will be no light show or video wall or pyrotechnics etc". The ticket price still stands at £5 and the producer promises the line-up to be as impressive as past events.

He also goes on to disclose his inspiration behind the special all-nighter events. In the trend that cultural controversy is often what fuels musical movements, Four Tet urges the necessity to celebrate and embrace "unity, love and solidarity events...that can bring us when we are faced with such intolerance and hate in the world".

Tickets for Four Tet's back-to-back all-nighter at Brixton Academy will go on sale on September 2.
