Enny salutes 'Peng Black Girls' on her latest single
This will be her third released single
South east London-based rapper and singer Enny this week released her latest single ‘Peng Black Girls’ featuring singer songwriter Amia Brave.
‘Peng Black Girls’ carries a message of empowerment and unity between Black women, highlighting that there’s not one way to look or be Black.

Commenting on the track, Enny says, “‘PBG’ was written from a place of my subconscious. Looking at my family, friends or even random women and just thinking: wow, society and your own culture will tell you you’re not beautiful because your skin is a certain shade, or your features don’t look a certain way. Now looking back at it, ‘PBG’ was the beginning of me not caring and just being happy as I am: a complicated British-Nigerian girl from south east London with some very African features.”
In April this year, Enny released her debut single ‘He’s Not Into You’, garnering radio play from Radio 1, 1Xtra, 6 Music and GRM.
